Thousands of Members

We have thousands of members and hundreds of them are active each week. There are players with a wide range of chess abilities, so whether you are just starting out or are a future Grandmaster there will be plenty of opponents at your level.

Tournaments

As well as being able to play in standard games you can also join tournaments or multi-game matches to truly test your skills. Tournaments can be set up to only allow players of a certain skill level to join, or they can let anyone join for a great battle.

Team Games

If you later choose to become a Gold Account member you will be able to create teams and invite other members to join you. As a team, with up to ten members, you can play games against other members or against other teams.

Make New Friends

We have a very friendly chess community and you can stay in touch with your new friends by chatting one to one with other members or joining in with the many forum conversations. Topics in the forums range from the finer points of chess to player's favourite superheros, and everything else in between.

Easy Game Management

Whether you have one game or fifty games at once, they are all organised so that you can easily switch between them and see at a glance where it's your turn or some other action is required by you.

Edit Your Account and Preferences

Do you prefer the black pieces to appear at the bottom of the board, or do you always like to play with your pieces at the top? This and other settings can be edited here, as well as changing your password and email address.
